Purpose and use
Inspect logo and cutout edges against white, black, or a custom background.
Example
Three pixels with alpha values of 0, 128, and 255 count as one transparent, one translucent, and one opaque pixel.
Interpreting the result
In alpha view, black is transparent, white is opaque, and gray is translucent. Percentages use the image’s total pixel count.
Limits and caveats
JPEG normally has no alpha, so every pixel is opaque. Changing the preview background does not alter the source.
Related workflow
Use Texture Channel Pack & Unpack to work with alpha as a separate channel map.
