Pick a speaking order, chore, meal, destination, or one choice from any list of options.
This roulette picks one item at random from the options you enter. Use it for speaking order, chores, meals, destinations, or whenever you need to make a choice.
The pick happens in your browser. Your items and the removal setting are kept in this browser for 30 days from the last save and are not sent to a server.
Compare removal after a pick with duplicated labels, checking remaining entries and what duplicates mean.
Example buttons replace the inputs and settings above and calculate. Restore previous input steps back one example at a time. After trying multiple examples, repeat restore to return to your original input. This history is lost when the page closes.
Entries: A / B / C / Remove picked entry: on
Winner is A, B or C. After completion, 2/3 entries remain; the input lines stay unchanged.
Entries: A / B / B / Remove picked entry: off
Winner is A or B; all 3/3 entries remain. B occupies two draw slots.
Each input line is a draw slot. Entering B twice assigns it two slots. With removal enabled, only the selected slot is removed, even for repeated labels. One result does not establish statistical fairness. Check the remaining-entry count after the animation completes.
Use 2–100 non-empty trimmed lines. Entries and removal preference are saved in this browser. Applying example input resets the draw state, without recovering prior winners or excluded slots. Restore recovers original input/settings with all entries available again. Example and restore controls are disabled while the wheel spins.
Verification: independent checks compare real winners against candidate labels and remaining counts 2/3 or 3/3. Browser checks prevent overlapping example actions and verify original text, saved settings and full candidate restoration after two examples.
With three lines A, A, B, either A has a combined chance of 2/3 and B has a chance of 1/3, because every line is one candidate.
If removal is enabled and an A wins, only that selected row is removed. The other A remains and can win next. All rows with the same name are not removed together.
Each line is picked with the same chance. If you enter the same item more than once, that item has a higher chance of being selected.
Yes. Turn on “Remove selected item after each spin.” Once every item has been selected, choose “Reset picks” to add them all back.
Your items and removal setting are stored in this browser's localStorage for 30 days from the last save. A history of results is not saved.
Yes. It works on phones too. When there are many items, labels on the wheel are shortened to keep it readable.
You can add up to 100 items. At least two items are needed to spin.
Share only the tool name and public URL. Your input and results are not included.
Keep a separate copy before clearing or resetting. This browser autosaves the item list and the remove-after-pick setting. Data is not restored when read 30 days or more after its last save. Clearing site data or storage restrictions may remove it sooner.
Favorites and language preferences are stored separately and may be lost when site data is cleared. Tool resets and site-data deletion do not delete files already downloaded to your device.
