Trim a list without joining its records
For a list of product codes, trim each line but keep the line breaks. Removing line breaks joins separate records into one line. Check the output line count before pasting the result back into an Excel column.
How to use
- Select the cleanup options you need.
- Enter the source text and the cleaned result updates automatically.
- Compare both versions, then copy or save the result as a TXT file.
Example
With the default options, trailing spaces are trimmed and repeated blank lines become one blank line. Records stay on separate lines unless you select “Remove line breaks.”
