Trim a list without joining its records
For a list of product codes, trim each line but keep the line breaks. Removing line breaks joins separate records into one line. Check the output line count before pasting the result back into an Excel column.
Example
With the default options, trailing spaces are trimmed and repeated blank lines become one blank line. Records stay on separate lines unless you select “Remove line breaks.”

Tidy line breaks copied from PDFs or web pages, remove extra spaces from email drafts, or standardize blank lines.

A line break becomes one ordinary space. Also removing half-width spaces produces redblue instead.
