About this tool
Replace company names, addresses, product names, contact details, and inconsistent wording across an entire text. Preview every match and exclude only the occurrences you do not want to change. Your text is processed only in your browser and is never sent to a server.

Earlier rules win when search terms overlap
For the input “catalog”, put cat→dog on the first row and catalog→list on the second. The earlier cat match wins, producing “dogalog”. Reverse the two rules and the result becomes “list”.
- Every rule is matched against the original text. This is not a chain that applies the next rule to text produced by an earlier replacement.
- Review both the highlighted matches and the count before using the result, especially when a search term can occur inside a longer word.

How to read the result
Search text is literal, not a regular expression. Rules find matches in the original text, so dog produced from cat is not replaced again. Unchecking a candidate retains that occurrence’s original spelling.
Scope and limits
Earlier rules win when candidates overlap. Whole-word matching uses letter, number and underscore boundaries, not dictionary parsing. Samples replace rules and candidate choices too; restoration returns the previous rules and exclusions. Normal draft saving applies.
Verification: the existing controller’s output is checked against fixed expected strings; multiple rules and excluded-candidate restoration are exercised in the browser.

Regular-expression metacharacters in search text are escaped. A period matches a literal period, rather than any character.
Empty search strings are ignored. Whole-word matching uses letter, number, and underscore boundaries, not Japanese linguistic word segmentation.
Frequently asked questions
Can I run multiple replacements at once?
Yes. Add more replacement rules and they will be processed from top to bottom.
Can I exclude only some matches?
Yes. Clear the checkbox for any planned replacement you want to leave unchanged.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. Replacements and draft storage take place only in your current browser.
