Pack text, binary and an empty file
Input and settings
notes.txt = Hello plus newline; data.bin = 00 FF 80 01; empty.txt = zero bytes.
Expected result
files.zip contains three files with exactly 6/4/0 input bytes.
Compress files into a ZIP or extract ZIP contents with size, path and integrity checks, entirely in your browser.
Drop files here. For extraction, choose one ZIP.
Compression: 1–100 files, 40 MB per file and 80 MB combined. Input ZIP: 80 MB. Extraction: 100 files, 40 MB each, 80 MB combined. Saved ZIP: 96 MB.
For compression, choose files and save a ZIP. Already compressed images may not become smaller. Original files are unchanged. Folder selection is unsupported.
For extraction, choose one ZIP. Every file is checked for safe paths, size and CRC32 integrity, then saved in a new uncompressed ZIP. You can also save each file directly. Individual downloads use the basename and do not create folders. The source ZIP is unchanged. Empty directories, timestamps and permission attributes are not preserved.
Standard ZIP with stored or Deflate entries and UTF-8/ASCII names is supported. Encryption, ZIP64, split archives, links, other compression methods, RAR, 7z and tar are unsupported. Failed extraction never provides a partial export.
Only safe relative paths are allowed. Parent traversal, absolute paths, controls, reserved names, duplicate names and file/directory collisions are rejected. Each path component is limited to 240 UTF-8 bytes, the full path to 500 bytes and depth to 16 components.
Cancel, switching operations and changing files discard the previous export. Files and names are processed locally and are neither stored nor sent. This tool does not scan contents for viruses.
Try ZIP creation with an empty file and inspection/saving of a nested archive.
Example buttons replace the inputs and settings above with synthetic data and process it. Restore previous input steps back one example at a time. After trying multiple examples, repeat restore to return to your original input. This history is lost when the page closes.

bundle.zip contains folder/hello.txt, data.bin and empty.txt.
Three entries. Verified extracted-files.zip preserves paths and bytes; individual saving is also available. It does not automatically extract to disk.
Extract mode verifies a ZIP and offers a verified archive or individual files. Individual downloads use the basename. Ordinary file selection in Create mode uses filenames, not their original PC folder paths.
1–100 files, 40 MB each, 80 MB total extracted data, 80 MB input ZIP and 96 MB output. UTF-8/ASCII names and Store/Deflate are supported. Encryption, ZIP64, split ZIPs, links, unsafe paths and name collisions are unsupported. Verification uses a Worker.
Independently unpack saved ZIPs and check names, all bytes and CRCs; also compare individual extracted downloads.
Verified files are saved together in a new uncompressed ZIP. Open it with your operating system.
Encrypted ZIPs are unsupported.
ZIP64 and split archives are unsupported. Store and Deflate entries in ordinary ZIP archives are supported.
