About this tool
Edits JPEG, PNG, and WebP metadata without recompressing pixels. The default keeps orientation and ICC profiles and reduces EXIF to orientation only. Visible information in the picture is not removed.
Input supports up to 100 JPEG, PNG or WebP files, limited to 134217728 bytes (about 134.2 MB), 128 million pixels and 32768 pixels per edge per file, with 268435456 bytes (about 268.4 MB) in total. Files are processed one by one with a thumbnail of the result.

How to read the result
Removed block count is not a GPS count. “GPS not detected/not read” does not prove all identifying data is gone. PNG processing removes ordinary text as well; default settings retain information needed for orientation and color.
Scope and limits
JPEG/PNG/WebP, up to 100 files, 128 MiB each / 256 MiB combined. Only safely parsed structures are supported. Broader removal also strips color profiles and can change appearance. No pixel recompression; exports use clean-number names. Originals stay unchanged; Undo restores files, order and scope.
Independently scan output PNG chunks and decode pixels: verify removed tEXt, preserved gAMA, identical IDAT bytes and original-file restoration.

Read the GPS check result
A JPEG containing GPS metadata may show “GPS: Present → Not detected” after processing with the default settings. “Not detected” means this check found no GPS metadata. “Not read” means the GPS metadata could not be parsed.

Will this change the original files?
No. Results are saved as new files; the originals are unchanged.
Are my files uploaded?
Processing takes place in your browser. Closing the page discards your work.
Will it remove names or faces visible in the picture?
It removes supported metadata without recompressing pixels. Information visible in the picture is not removed.
